Prediction for upcoming versions of Microsoft Windows operating system

I bet in the year 2017 or so, we will be seeing the Windows 10. Also it will be complete departure of the UX and UI from not yet released Windows 7,8,9. Lets not to talk about the server counterpart.

There will be number of revolutionary change in the technologies going to be an integral part of the Win 10. Virtual Reality and Second Life type technology. At that same timeframe the Mac OS 11 will be making appearance or already being appeared.

Why I confidently bet 2017 for Windows 10 ?

Answer: There is a logical reason behind this. See lets take an example about Windows XP that was released in October 2001. The product was supposed to make an end for mainstream support by the end of 2007, however it was extended to June 30,2008. So within this time frame we have Windows Vista+ or Windows Vista.

The extended support for XP is April 2014. So within that timeframe we will be seeing Windows 9.

Now again how I am projecting this date or year for the release of Windows 9. It is so because as we all know that Windows 7 is going to be released in the Q1CY2010. And Bill Gates and other official members of Redmond have already said "Every 2-3 years we will be having new version of Windows OS". So, the Windows 8 is scheduled for 2012/2013 release. So the case with Windows 9.
